Gyuto (Chef’s knife) is an all-purpose kitchen knife. Gyuto is used for cutting meat, fish and vegetables.
Aritsugu Gyuto Stainless Steel knives are made of AUS-8 Steel which is high-carbon steel containing chromium, nickel, molybdenum and vanadium. AUS-8 Steel offers rust-resistance, as well as excellent sharpness and hardness. The knives are easy to maintain and have a long-lasting edge. The blades have been hand finished by skilled craftsmen.
Aritsugu knives are prized by both chefs and home cooks because of their sharpness, good balance and easy handling.
Knives with blade lengths of 180-210mm are generally for home use, knives with blade lengths of 240-270mm are generally used by professionals, and knives with blade lengths greater than 270mm are generally used as a slicer, or for large vegetables and fruits. Ultimately, the choice is depends on your circumstances, like the size of your kitchen, the size of your hands, and the size of your chopping board.
